Dehlia
Dehlia, daughter of Josy Oeuvray and Suzanne Oeuvray-Zurbuchen has been exposed to the world of horse riding since her most tender age. Very early, she learns and loves to ride in her parent’s riding school, right next to the present riding centre. Thanks to her parent’s support and a will of steel, as a teenager, Dehlia goes from victory to victory, participates in 4 European pony championships and earns one gold medal and a silvers medal at the Swiss pony championship. After obtaining her high school diploma in modern languages and a year of studies in a business school, she decides to dedicate herself completely to her passion – horses – and travelled to learn better the languages and the riding in Ireland, Holland and Ticino. Coming back, she put her new experience to the benefit of the family business. By the end of 2001, Dehlia leaves de riding school of her parents for the management of the new riding centre.
With the support of the Burrus family in Boncourt which leaves some horses at her disposal, Dehlia has excellent results at the major international jumping competitions: Aachen, Calgary, Geneva, St-Gall, La Baule, Dublin, Valkenswaard, Monterrey, Modena and a bronze medal at the Swiss elite championships in 2001.
Today she continues her career as a rider, and, together with her husband Edwin manages the riding centre, she is president of the ‘Challenges de Chevenez’ and mother of 2 sons.
